PRP Treatments

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) treatment is a regenerative therapy that uses a concentration of a patient's own platelets, rich in growth factors, to stimulate healing in damaged tissues like muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints, or for skin rejuvenation and hair growth. The process involves drawing the patient's blood, spinning it in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma, and then injecting this concentrated plasma into the targeted area to promote natural repair and reduce pain.

How it works

  1. Blood Draw

A small amount of blood (similar to a standard blood test) is taken from the patient's arm.

  2. Centrifugation

The blood sample is placed in a centrifuge, which spins rapidly to separate the red blood cells from the platelets and plasma.

  3. Injection

The concentrated, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is drawn into a syringe and injected directly into the injured or affected area, like a joint or scalp.
